top attacking full backs in the country and was the s Antworten

Even when youre a fan of one specific major league team, it can be difficult to keep track of all of the news about your favorite club on a daily basis. However, when youre a fantasy baseball owner and now have to multiply that effort by 30 in order to be as up-to-date as possible with each and every club? Its a fools errand that borders on the impossible.Fear not! Well be here each and every week to give you a snapshot of whats going on in the world of baseball, with one fantasy takeaway from each of the leagues 30 teams. Think of it as your one-stop shop for the week ahead.Arizona Diamondbacks: Its never a good sign when a pitcher already on a pitch count (in this case, 60) ends up getting the hook before even reaching that total. Thats what happened to Rubby De La Rosa on Wednesday, as he lasted just 45 pitches and eight batters in just his second start back from the disabled list. Because of the lingering discomfort in his right elbow, the team has decided to shut down De La Rosa?for the remainder of the season.Atlanta Braves: Freddie Freeman has a 20-game hitting streak working right now, but it could be a few days before he takes a shot at extending that run. At least his absence will be for a good reason, as the first baseman hustled his way to the hospital?Wednesday when he learned his wife had gone into labor. With the Braves playing at home this weekend, theres always a chance Freeman could get out to the ballpark and play, but with a weeklong road trip looming, he could also opt to get in as much baby time as possible.Baltimore Orioles: Steve Pearce might be done for the season after receiving an injection Wednesday that is expected to shut him down for around 10 days. Pearce has been dealing with pain in his throwing arm for most of the season, and playing corner outfield has wreaked havoc on his ability to continue to play -- with the pain now extending to swinging a bat. The hope is that this latest treatment will address the problem enough for Pearce to play again, should the Orioles make the postseasonBoston Red Sox: The headlines from Thursdays comeback win for the Red Sox will focus on Hanley Ramirezs home run, but perhaps the more important news, in the long run, was the return to left field by Andrew Benintendi. The outfielder, on the disabled list for three weeks, had been activated Tuesday but did not play until Thursday, when he went 1-for-3 with a double from the No. 9 spot he should be calling home for a good portion of Bostons remaining schedule.Chicago Cubs: Even though they lost on Thursday, the Cubs clinched the NL Central when the Cardinals lost their game in San Francisco. For Chicago fans, this is great news. For fantasy fans, not so much. With a six-game lead for home-field advantage over Washington, manager Joe Maddon will have plenty of opportunity to rest his starters and juggle his rotation to get it to where he wants to be headed into the postseason. So if you were counting on the Cubs to provide you with daily stats in your pennant race, youre probably not celebrating right now.Chicago White Sox: From Aug. 2 through Sept. 3, James Shields was 0-5 with a 12.07 ERA, a stretch of seven starts that included 15 home runs allowed. After Chicagos 2-1 win over Cleveland on Thursday, Shields (who got a no-decision in the contest) has thrown two consecutive quality starts, thanks to renewed confidence in his breaking pitches. I felt pretty good with my curveball today. I was able to locate it, Shields said after the game. Baby steps toward respectability?Cincinnati Reds: Billy Hamilton has been dealing with a strained oblique that has kept him out of the Reds lineup since Sept. 4. The outfielder was hoping hed be able to be in the lineup on the last day of the season, something he has been unable to do in each of the past two years, both times due to injuries. That might not happen, though, as he has been retroactively placed on the disabled list. He certainly could still return, but with expanded rosters in place, putting him on the DL wasnt really necessary if the Reds thought Hamilton would be able to play again this season.Cleveland Indians: Cleveland was all set to welcome Yan Gomes back to the lineup Friday night. Put those plans on hold, for now. The catcher, who had been on the disabled list since July 17 due to a dislocated shoulder, was finishing up his final rehab game Wednesday when he was hit with a pitch on his right wrist. He went for an MRI on Thursday, with results expected later Friday.Colorado Rockies: Rookie David Dahl may have run out of gas. After playing just 79 games last year due to multiple injuries, he has already seen action in 139 games across multiple levels in 2016. Fatigue seems to have taken its toll, as the outfielder has not started since Sunday, amid an 0-for-13 slide. Manager Walt Weiss says he will get Dahl back on the field before the end of the season, but Dahl has noticed the wear and tear: The last couple weeks, Ive lost some weight, bat feels a little heavier, stuff like that.Detroit Tigers: Jordan Zimmermann lasted just one inning in his Sept. 10 return from the disabled list. As a result, the team decided to have him start a simulated game Wednesday, rather than a real one. The 80-pitch session went well, but manager Brad Ausmus is still unsure what the next step is for Zimmermann, although Mike Pelfreys disastrous Thursday start (four earned runs in 1 2/3 innings) might force his hand.Houston Astros: When the manager says hes not optimistic about an injured players chances of playing Friday after getting hurt Wednesday -- with a day off Thursday still ahead -- you know hes really not optimistic. That was A.J. Hinchs take on both Jose Altuve (oblique) and Alex Bregman (hamstring) after the duo left in back-to-back innings of Houstons 8-4 win over Texas. Hopefully for both the Astros and fantasy owners, Hinchs gut feel is wrong.Kansas City Royals: Keep an eye on Jason Vargas when he starts Saturday -- his first start since Tommy John surgery. Hell be on a tight leash, limited to three innings by manager Ned Yost, so hes not an ideal pick in DFS games by any means. Still, he might get between 10-15 innings down the stretch as a precursor to his becoming part of the teams 2017 rotation. Dynasty leaguers: If you like what you see, take the gamble.Los Angeles Angels: Tyler Skaggs had an MRI on Wednesday, which showed that there was no structural damage in his sore left arm. Skaggs is still hoping he will be able to get back on the mound because he wants to get to 100 innings pitched for the season, and hes still about a dozen frames shy of that goal. Still, with no reason to risk further injury, the Angels might choose to simply shut their pitcher down.Los Angeles Dodgers: Alex Wood, who had a .214 BAA and a 4.86 K/BB rate in his last four starts for the Dodgers before getting shut down for elbow surgery, is expected to get back on the mound for the team down the stretch. However, manager Dave Roberts said the pitcher would be used only out of the bullpen, and perhaps just to face one left-handed bat per appearance. Still, any time an injured pitcher is ready to get back on the mound, in any capacity, its good news -- especially for dynasty league owners.Miami Marlins: Call it desperation if you must, but with the Marlins now four games out of a playoff spot with 16 games left to play, manager Don Mattingly is ready to send Giancarlo Stanton to the outfield. Were hoping he can play Friday. We were missing that for about 45 days and that hurt us, Mattingly said. Stanton (strained groin) has had just five plate appearances in September and hasnt played the field since Aug. 13.Milwaukee Brewers: Ryan Braun could be playing his last games with the Brewers over the next few weeks. According to a report in USA Today, Braun was going to be traded to the Dodgers for Yasiel Puig at the deadline, but time ran out before the two teams could finalize the deal. As close as the teams reportedly came in August, it seems a real likelihood that a swap will take place shortly after the season comes to an end, especially since Braun lives in Los Angeles during the winter.Minnesota Twins: Miguel Sano has hit 23 home runs so far this season, and thats where his final total might end up. Sano, who hasnt played since Monday due to an ailing back, has returned to Minnesota to be examined by team doctors. Given how little time is left in 2016, should there be any reason for concern, the Twins might simply decide to shut Sano down. Either way, Eduardo Escobar should see plenty of time at the hot corner over the next two weeks.New York Mets: Lucas Duda (stress fracture in back) is taking live batting practice in Florida, and the first baseman might be able to return to action before the end of the season -- potentially even making the postseason roster as a left-handed bat off the bench. With Wilmer Flores nursing a bruised wrist, the teams depth at first base is a little light right now, so even if Duda is able to play only a few games between now and the end of the season, it could be a big help to the Mets.New York Yankees: With Rob Refsnyder going just 1-for-12 over his last four games in the Yankees outfield, the team is probably happy to learn that Aaron Hicks (hamstring) is likely to be activated from the disabled list as early as Tuesday. Prior to his injury, Hicks had scored runs in four of his last five games. Hicks hit .280 in August, and had he continued that level of success, he would have been the third-best hitter on the team this month.Oakland Athletics: Henderson Alvarez signed a one-year deal with the As during the offseason, and now his time in Oakland has likely ended without him throwing a pitch for the team. Alvarez had surgery last July on his shoulder, and after he tried to rehab all season (11 starts at various minor league levels) in order to get back on a major league mound, hes going to have a second surgery. An All-Star in 2014, Alvarez is now destined to be a free agent at the start of 2017.Philadelphia Phillies: Roman Quinn hit .287 with 31 stolen bases in 71 games at Double-A this season, earning him a cup of coffee with the major league club this month. Through five outfield starts, he has had three multihit games. Its way too early for 2017 decisions to be etched in stone, but the momentum is certainly starting for Quinn to be a potential leadoff option for the team when April rolls around. Stay tuned.Pittsburgh Pirates: From Aug. 24 through Sept. 5, Starling Marte hit .340 for the Pirates. Since then, he hasnt played due to back spasms. Hopefully for his fantasy owners, the rest has cured what ails the outfielder, as the team says Marte should be back in the lineup this weekend -- potentially Friday night -- in Cincinnati. Once we see how much he plays in this series, it should make the decision to start/sit him in your lineup next week a whole lot easier.St. Louis Cardinals: One day, Jaime Garcia is in, the next day, hes out. Manager Mike Matheny took a page from Heidi Klum, announcing a change in his starting rotation for the home stretch of the season. Garcia will head to the bullpen, with rookie Alex Reyes now scheduled to take the mound Sunday against the Giants. I told [Garcia] this isnt necessarily something you have to accept from here on out, Matheny said. Just be ready to pitch.San Diego Padres: Feel free to lose Christian Bethancourt (oblique strain) in one-and-done leagues. The catcher has officially been ruled out for the remainder of the season. The duo of Derek Norris and Hector Sanchez will finish out the season behind the plate for the Padres. Winter ball is on the horizon for Bethancourt, who is expected to try a conversion to the outfield to make way for catching prospect Austin Hedges.San Francisco Giants: Denard Span was in a brutal 3-for-44 (.068) slump from the leadoff spot, so manager Bruce Bochy finally decided to drop him down to No. 8 in the lineup for Thursdays game against the Cardinals. The center fielder went 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs, while Angel Pagan got two hits and an RBI in the leadoff spot. The Giants won, so perhaps this new alignment might become the new norm for the team.Seattle Mariners: Katy Perry may well have been singing about Kyle Seager in her song Hot N Cold. Seager hit .406 from Aug. 30 to Sept. 8, then proceeded to nosedive into a 2-for-21 (.095) tailspin before Thursday nights game, when he?hit a fifth-inning home run off Jhoulys Chacin of the Angels. Hopefully, this will trigger another turnaround for Seager, where he will be up, rather than down, and worthy of being in your fantasy lineups rather than out.Tampa Bay Rays: Nick Franklins season seems to be at an end after a left hamstring strain caused him to leave Thursdays game. Franklin was replaced at first base by Richie Shaffer. The Rays have also lost Logan Morrison, to a torn tendon in his left wrist. Morrison might be in line for surgery but will get a second opinion before going under the knife.Texas Rangers: When it comes to fantasy baseball, what teams do in MLBs postseason doesnt typically come into play. That said, with the Rangers set to line up their playoff rotation to be the quartet of Cole Hamels, Yu Darvish, Colby Lewis and Martin Perez, it does mean that the likelihood of Derek Holland starting again over the last two weeks of the season is minimal. That would probably have been the case even if he hadnt struggled in Wednesdays 8-4 loss to Houston, an outing that presumably removed all second thoughts from the equation.Toronto Blue Jays: Josh Donaldson missed three games due to a hip injury before returning to the Toronto lineup with a vengeance Thursday, reaching base in all five plate appearances and scoring two runs. Pain is one of those things you have to learn how to play through, especially with as long a season as it is. I felt like I was able to go today, Donaldson said after the game. That means those with weekly lineup deadlines?might need to think long and hard before locking in a player who might end up sitting out several games in any given week, but on the plus side of the equation, when Donaldson does start for the Jays, DFS players should feel free to start him as well.Washington Nationals: You may not have noticed that Wilson Ramos is set to be a free agent at the end of the season. However, that fact was not lost on Ramos. The catcher was hitting .331 on Aug. 15 but hit just .171 in the 21 games that followed. Ramos says part of the reason for his slump was his constant worrying about where hed be playing next year: I think I got distracted a little thinking about the contract and free agency. I talked to my wife a lot and relaxed at home. Now Im more relaxed at the plate, only thinking about doing my job like I was doing at the beginning of the season. So far, so good: Ramos is 4-for-his-last-9, with five RBI.
