Taking Game 1 and instantly showing Northern they were there to play. OMD kept the series close the entire way, taking the first series of the day to a thrilling Game 5. The final game went the way of Ohmydog as they showed what a weeks worth of practice can do, taking down one of the strongest teams in the world.Northern seem to constantly struggle against Ohmydog, as they only managed to beat them 3-2 in the qualifiers. Ohmydog will be happy for wins like this that can carry them to the regional playoffs and perhaps beyond.Match 2: Mockit Aces vs. Northern GamingNorthern came into their second match of the week looking for some redemption after the unexpected loss to Ohmydog. Mockit Aces looked to pounce on the defeated Northern but unfortunately failed, letting Northern storm out to a 2-0 series lead. Mockit finally got up to speed in the series taking Games 3 and 4 before Northern recovered and managed to take Game 5 and complete the 1-1 week.Match 3: Mockit Aces vs. Red EyeMockit Aces come into their match versus Red Eye as heartbroken favorites from the previous set against Northern. Red Eye, on the other hand, are looking for anything they can find, with individual game wins looking to be at a premium for the underdogs.The set ended with the expected result: Mockit Aces won. Red Eye are happy with the result because taking two games off a stronger opposition is key for them to qualify.Match 4: Red Eye vs. SummitSummit had a bad day, on the back of a poor Week 1. Improvement was needed, but it unfortunately never came.Red Eye came into this match warmed up from the previous match, destroying Summit 3-0 clinically with extremely high pressure. Red Eye will be ecstatic with a 1-1 match score, which is going to be vital for regional playoff qualification. Summit will need to figure out what has been going wrong in the second half of the season.Match 5: Precision Z vs. SummitSummit just couldnt find their feet today, and the other teams were there to pounce on that weakness. Precision Z came into this match as heavy favorites and showed their top tier quality. The match went one way only, with Precision Z going at Summit and taking them down 3-0 convincingly. Summit, on the other hand, seem to be in full panic mode; if they dont start winning games, they could soon be in deep trouble.Match 6: FlipSid3 Tactics vs. Precision ZFlipSid3 are good, very good. Precision Z looked commanding in their earlier set against the boys from Summit and yet, FlipSid3 put on a master class showing. With a commanding 3-1 win, FlipSid3 seemed to set themselves apart from the competition at the top of the European Rocket League scene.With incredible passing play and a scintillating high pressure offense, FlipSid3 are truly a joy to watch.Match 7: FlipSid3 Tactics vs. ReunitedFlipSid3 showed in the final match of the day that they can compete from behind as well. Reunited came out with a blistering start, looking to put the Flipsid3 boys under pressure early and FlipSid3 responded very well to the pressure. With a Game 4 that went to almost five minutes of overtime, FlipSid3 came close to defeat.Unfortunately for Reunited, FlipSid3 managed to win the very long overtime before taking them down in Game 5.
