The Minnesota Wild have re-signed forward Stephane Veilleux to a two-year contract extension. According to Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the two-way deal will pay Veilleux a total of $1.175 million over the next two seasons. The 31-year-old appeared in two playoff games for the Wild in 2012-13 after spending the majority of the season with the American Hockey Leagues Houston Aeros. In 33 games with Houston, Veilleux scored three goals and five assists. Veilleux has appeared in 460 career NHL games with the Wild, Tampa Bay Lightning and New Jersey Devils, scoring 46 goals and adding 55 assists.
